Reception, information and promotion

The Quercy Blanc tourist office is an association governed according to the law of 1901.  Appointed by the community of communes, it carries out its activities over a territory of 23 villages and has these objectives:

  • to provide you with information beforehand, encouraging you to visit and discover the Quercy Blanc, particularly via its web site which is continuously developed and updated,
  • to welcome you at their information offices and inform you, in particular by the means of touristic literature,
  • to promote the territory, its heritage, its products, its knowledge and skills, its events and its professionals,
  • to answer your enquiries regarding the events and services available throughout the territory.

A professional team of 5 bilingual and trilingual advisors available, all year round, to satisfy the enquiries of the visitor’s and providers of touristic services within their territory.

Our commitment

This tourist office is ranked category III and is a member of the French Tourist Office network.

It is committed to:

  • providing a visitors welcome and an easily accessible information area;
  • helping you with your requests;
  • providing a furnished sitting area;
  • offering free information concerning local touristic offers;
  • displaying  and distributing, in at least one other foreign language, the opening hours;
  • being open for a minimum of 120 days per year including Saturdays and Sundays during the touristic season or for special events;
  • replying, all year round, to received mail;
  • insuring a permanent reception service manned by staff members practicing at least one foreign language;
  • insuring the availability of tourist maps and guides in paper form;
  • giving you access to its bilingual internet web site;
  • distributing its tourist information in paper form and translated into at least one foreign language in regards to:
    • all classified tourist accommodation including the name of the enterprise, its postal coordinates, e-mail address, website, telephone numbers and its level of classification;
    • monuments and tourist sites, cultural areas, outdoor activities and including prices, opening periods and opening hours for the public, internet website, telephone numbers and postal coordinates;
    • events and activities;
    • emergency telephone numbers;
  • updating annually its tourist information;
  • displaying, outside, the emergency telephone numbers;
  • answering your requests and complaints, measuring your satisfaction;
  • putting at your service a touristic advisor;
  • guaranteeing that local touristic information is reliable and up-to-date;
  • updating data concerning the local touristic offers within its geographical zone of intervention.
