Our wine is produced on a 12 hectare estate, from vines planted on the high ground of the Cahors appellation. The Clos Troteligotte is made up of one single soil type : Siderolithic Calcareous Clay. This is a red soil composed of clay and limestone but also, much rarer in the Cahors area, earth which is rich in iron. All these factors contribute to giving Clos Troteligotte its character and complexity. Over the years, we have made a selection of individual plots within the Clos and have created, according to the soils' different iron content, a range illustrating the variations that the Malbec grape can produce on this unique part of the Cahors appellation. - Six wines make up the range : K- nom, K- or, K- pot, K- lys, K and K². Production of ratafia, grape juice, white wine.
The brewery has been operational since July 2001. Ratz beer is unpasteurised. It was the passion of Christophe Ratz, the brewer, which led to him reviving the tradition of small-scale brewing in the Lot. He has successfully combined the best of his know-how and respect for this area to brew this beer, an infusion of pure malt and aromatic hops. The recipe, with its unique selection of yeasts, enables it to develop harmonious flavours with the passing of time...Enjoy a visit to find out about our authentic artisanal methods accompanied by a member of our staff, who will tell you about the brewery, show you the production area and explain the process by which our beer is brewed.
Magnificent vineyard situated partly in the Lot and partly in the Tarn-et-Garonne, in the Coteaux du Quercy wine area. The estate extends over 27 hectares. It is run by the Gisbert and Quèbre families, who are very attentive to the good management of their vineyard. There can be no doubt about this when you taste their delicious Quercy wines. They are generous and solid, like the inhabitants of this region. The Chai St. Etienne offers red wines, red wines aged in oak and both dry and sweet rosés for tasting.
