Our wine is produced on a 12 hectare estate, from vines planted on the high ground of the Cahors appellation. The Clos Troteligotte is made up of one single soil type : Siderolithic Calcareous Clay. This is a red soil composed of clay and limestone but also, much rarer in the Cahors area, earth which is rich in iron. All these factors contribute to giving Clos Troteligotte its character and complexity. Over the years, we have made a selection of individual plots within the Clos and have created, according to the soils' different iron content, a range illustrating the variations that the Malbec grape can produce on this unique part of the Cahors appellation. - Six wines make up the range : K- nom, K- or, K- pot, K- lys, K and K². Production of ratafia, grape juice, white wine.
The brewery has been operational since July 2001. Ratz beer is unpasteurised. It was the passion of Christophe Ratz, the brewer, which led to him reviving the tradition of small-scale brewing in the Lot. He has successfully combined the best of his know-how and respect for this area to brew this beer, an infusion of pure malt and aromatic hops. The recipe, with its unique selection of yeasts, enables it to develop harmonious flavours with the passing of time...Enjoy a visit to find out about our authentic artisanal methods accompanied by a member of our staff, who will tell you about the brewery, show you the production area and explain the process by which our beer is brewed.

The Clos Triguedina has been home to the Baldès family since 1830, a family which has always been one of the "pioneers" within the Cahors vineyards. The range of Clos Triguedina wines is distinguished by its innovative nature; each wine more audacious than the last, whether AOC Cahors wines or those bearing the appellation Pays du Comté Tolosan.
This estate has been progressively built up over the past twenty years on land which used to be planted with vines last century. Its name is linked to the "Pech" (hill) over which most of the vineyard extends. On the site of a former parish which no longer exists, its church dedicated to St. Julien was sold as "national property" at the time of the Revolution. On the estate's 7 hectares, the Cabernet, Cot, Merlot, Gamay and Tannat varieties are grown in soil typical of the area: ochre-red calcareous clays which are shallow and very stony, providing ideal conditions for the production of high-quality wine. All the stages and procedures necessary for making our wines take place on the estate (wine-making, bottling, packaging....)
